Frolickers: Cole, Natalie, Haley
Cole joined The Little School back in 2007, and has been a walking talking symbol of joy ever since. He rejoined the school this past spring after a year hiatus in NYC. A athlete to the core, Cole is always moving, hiking, jumping, dancing and generally making kids smile. On the weekends you can find him floating down the Eno, playing basketball, or on the Weaver Street lawn with his beloved dog Dover.
Natalie is originally from New Bern, NC. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Fayetteville State University in 2005. From 2006 to 2013 she worked within the Mental Health Field providing services for at risk youth. As of today, she has over two years of experience in child care. She loves experiencing the uniqueness of each child. Natalie loves the laughter of children and watching them grow and learn. She plans to assist in creating a joyful learning experience for all children.
Born and raised in Guilford County, Haley has always been drawn to work with children. She began at age 14 by volunteering and soon working at the Greensboro Children's Museum while babysitting for many friends and family members until she moved to Chapel Hill for college. At UNC, she received bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Anthropology while continuing to babysit. She has since worked as a research assistant in child development giving assessments to children ages 1 through 10. Teaching at The Little School is another exciting step for her into engaging with and learning from children. Haley loves taking road trips off the beaten path, exploring our country's landscapes, running, playing, sewing, knitting, and all other sorts of projects
