October farm to table meal 2017

Farm to table is BACK and better than ever. We have leveled up and spread our arms out further into this resource rich community. We are bringing in farmers and fermenters from all across the Piedmont. The chefs have created an exceptional menu, sourcing pork from Heritage Farms, produce from Eco and Blue Sky Farms and cheese from Goat lady dairy. We have also invited wine and cider makers (as well as TLS alumni) from Botanist and Barrel to serve up some of their locally grown, and wildly innovative creations such as blackberry wine and hard apple cider aged in bourbon barrels. Excited yet?

 

Without further ado, we invite you to enjoy some of the best food in our community with some of the best folks in the community. Bring your kids, bring your best friend, or bring just yourself!

Vegetarian option - Farm Egg Roasted Vegetable Quiche 

Sweet Potato and Sage Gratin with Wild Mushrooms

Organic Greens and Rainbow Chard salad with Pickled Beets and Goat Cheese

Apple Fig Bread Pudding with Crème Anglaise
