Bunnia is excited to be a part of The Little School! She is originally from Marquette, Michigan but have lived most of her life in the wonderful state of NC. During her teenage years, her first summer job was working with children who had special needs. She loved and enjoyed them and the experience so much that she returned to work with them every summer until she graduated from high school. Bunnia felt this experience to be her special calling and continued her career in Early Childhood Education teaching preschoolers while living in Carrboro, NC. A move to Durham in 1996 helped further her teaching career when she started teaching the Pre-K class for the next ten years and then Preschoolers for the next eight up to the present in 2015. She obtained her NC Early Childhood Credentials I & II in 1998. It gives her great joy to be a teacher! She feels that children are amazing souls. They are also loving, creative, and so much more! She is happy to be a part of their lives and to help them during their developing years. Bunnia has five nieces and nephews. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves reading, listening to all genres of music and checking out different bands, walking, decorating, and olympic foil fencing (advanced beginner).
