Stephanie was born in Florida and moved to North Carolina as a child, and has lived in the Triangle are ever since. After spending six years in the army and traveling to different areas, she was introduced to the diversity of Durham and fell in love with the city. Her love of children was evident as a toddler when she began "childcare" with her baby dolls. Stephanie's love of children and her nanny experience guided her into a certificate of Nursing Assistance and then an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. After graduation she worked in a Montessori environment before reaching out to The Little School. In her spare time Stephanie loves hiking and camping, spending time with her family and her three young nieces, and hanging out in this awesome city. Her long term goals are to further her education and experience, and to hike the Appalachian Trail. She is thrilled to be serving the children here at TLS at Duke.


Yareli was born in Mexico and now she is currently living in Durham. She lives with both of her parents and three siblings. She has two brothers and one sister. During her free time, she likes to hang out with her grandfather. She loves being part of The Little School at Duke surrounded by amazing kids who show her new things everyday.
Janet recently moved from California, where she was born and raised. She is looking forward to learning,playing, and growing with the families and staff of The Little School at Duke. She graduated from UC Davis in 2014 with a B.S. in Human Development and minors in Education and Psychology. She has always working with children. She has been working as a preschool teacher since she graduated from college. She enjoys spending time with her loved ones, her fiance, and her car. Janet leads an active life, she enjoys going out for hikes and running outdoors. Moreover,she loves running marathons.
