Alli grew up on Long Island, but her family's yearly trips to Carolina Beach constantly made North Carolina feel more like home. She always knew she liked working with children, but she discovered her true passion for Early Childhood Education while earning her Bachelor's degree from UNC Chapel Hill in both Child Development and Family Studies Education and Psychology. It was her time at UNC that made Alli realize she likes living in North Carolina almost as much as she loves teaching young children so she is extremely excited to be able to do both here at a school as a phenomenal as The Little School at Duke! Second to her love of children is Alli's love of all things music. She grew up singing and playing the drums and enjoys listening to all styles and genres. On any given Saturday afternoon you might find her outside with friends playing the ukulele and singing (timidly) around The Triangle!
